The Denver Urban Spectrum will commemorate 19 years of publishing excellence by hosting an exclusive celebration at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret in downtown Denver on Wednesday, April 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. US’s “Cabaret 19” will be an evening filled with live entertainment, food, and fun and will honor distinguished community members Paul Stewart, Syl Morgan-Smith, the 2006 African Americans Who Make a Difference recipients and other distinguished individuals from the Denver Community.
Guests of Cabaret 19 will be entertained by the sultry sounds of Denver’s own Sheryl Renee, Shadow Theater’s Jeffrey Nickelson, jazz vocalist Chester McSwain (from Chicago), actress and singer Vickilyn Reynolds (from LA) and Denver’s well-recognized entertainer Lannie Garrett.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Urban Spectrum Youth Foundation and its summer journalism program.
