A Woman Who Makes A Difference
Editor:
It is indeed an honor to be chosen with so many distinguished people “Who Make A Difference” in the community.
I congratulate the Denver Urban Spectrum for spreading the news about people of color and keeping us informed, aware and involved in issues that affect our lives. In 21 years, you have made a great impact on the way we think, act and respond to information. I am excited and anxiously awaiting the new Web site.
I have been blessed to have support from so many individuals and groups in Denver who understand the mission and vision of Northeast Women’s Center. Paulette McIntosh and the Board of Directors work hard to ensure that the programs and activities reflect the needs of the community and are carried out with compassion in an effective and efficient manner.
I am thankful that I have been chosen to help make Denver a better place to live and work and grateful for the recognition from Denver Urban Spectrum.
In humble thanks,

Wisdom Versus Experience
Editor:
The word experience is everywhere today. In an election that has proved more engaging and tightly fought than any in a generation, it is the word of the moment. But what does experience mean?
There are two meanings to the word experience. One is Hillary Clinton's meaning when she says she has experience that Barack Obama lacks. There is, however, another meaning to experience. In its active form, experience is our perception of the world. Clinton can say she has more experience, meaning she has more of what it is that accumulates when you have been in politics for a long time.
What Obama should claim is that he has the greater experience, as a better perception of the challenges we face. This sort of experience, in application, is wisdom. Obama has the claim to greater wisdom, particularly in questions of foreign policy. John McCain and Clinton have attacked Obama as inexperienced in foreign policy and claimed that he is unfit to lead our country through a dangerous world. This is a claim that we must examine.
Consider McCain, he certainly has more experience than Clinton, but his approach to foreign policy is a reflection of the Bush administration's policy, albeit with less torture - we hope. But if McCain is more experienced than Clinton - who is supposedly more experienced than Obama - certainly someone more experienced than McCain is even better. Yet, it was those very most-experienced men that got us into Iraq: Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz have
been key players in the foreign policy arena for decades. Is that the kind of experience we need?
When it came time to take a stand on the most important foreign policy question our country has faced since the end of the Cold War, Obama had the experience and wisdom to make the right call. Clinton has derided Obama's Iraq position as nothing but empty words, but the words he spoke in 2002 are certainly not empty: 'I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.'
We need to appreciate what American society was like back in 2002. Clinton dismisses Obama's speech because he was not in a position to vote for the war, as if it was no risk for a politician to come out against the Bush administration at that time. Thinking back five years: citizens were frightened, few elected officials challenged the march to war, and the Democratic Party was still signing Bush's laws, like the Patriot Act, with hardly enough time for the ink to dry.
Many of us who opposed the war said nothing. Many of us were unsure of the war and said nothing. Many of us did not question the need for war. Many of us failed a test of our collective and individual wisdom. Obama was not the only brave soul opposing the war at that time, but he is certainly the only one running for president who had the strategic foresight and the moral courage to say the following words:
'Let's finish the fight with Bin Laden and al-Qaeda, through effective, coordinated intelligence, and a shutting down of the financial networks that support terrorism, and homeland security program that involves more than color-coded warnings... The consequences of war are dire, the sacrifices immeasurable... We ought not - we will not - travel down that hellish path blindly. Nor should we allow those who would march off and pay the ultimate sacrifice, who would prove the full measure of devotion with their blood, to make such an awful sacrifice in vain.'
If Clinton and McCain think words are empty or naïve, then I hope Obama never gets the kind of experience they have. Obama has spoken words that many of us felt at the time, words that we know now to be true, and words that other politicians could not find.
Keeping America safe and building peace in our world does not require decades spent inside the Washington establishment. These noble tasks require wisdom, foresight, and courage. That is the experience American needs in today's complex world.

U.S. Marshall Bailey Deserves Pardon, Too
Editor:
Convictions are clearly separate, but unequal punishments for perjury, are based solely on a citizen’s color. Scooter Libby leads the pack in this judicial inequality. Libby lied under oath and exposed the identity of a CIA operative, and his reckless and treasonous act also exposed other global CIA operatives to being killed in intelligence-gathering retaliation.
GWB blew off Scooters' national security violations and gave him a full pardon. Our founding fathers would have given Scooter the Benedict Arnold penalty. Black, Ex-Denver U.S. Marshal Benny Bailey (26 years service) wasn't as lucky (GOP water-boarded and lynched). State Attorney General John Suthers, in his former job as Denver Deputy USAG (GWB appointee), and Denver Federal Court Chief Judge Ed "$3K lap dancing enthusiast" Nottingham (GHWB appointee), prosecuted and sentenced Bailey to six years in federal prison for perjury. GWB, Suthers, and Snotty-Notty collectively blew a Jim Crow gasket, when they discovered Bailey had sex, "heaven forbid", with a WHITE WOMAN. This woman was an alternate juror in the Tim McVeigh OK City bombing trial.
Suthers and Snotty-Notty should both be criminally charged and impeached, because they violated Bailey's constitutional rights by even asking him this question, where they had no jurisdiction other than being racist. The Bailey family lost all of their federal retirement benefits because of Bailey's dastardly deeds; however, Chelsea and Hillary got themselves an $8 million book-deal.
For more than two years, Suthers has known (R) State Rep. David Balmer (carpetbagger) committed perjury, too. Balmer falsified, forged, and perjured his state election application. He lied claiming he had law clerk experience. This is a violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and nullifies the votes of Blacks like me. Former (R) Governor Owens laughed it off when he was told of Blamer's felonious act (voter fraud).
Cong. GHWB and GWB conspired and perjured a host of military documents to get GWB his illegal military discharge. GWB didn't complete his obligated military service. Therefore, GWB is a 40+ years UCMJ-felon; AWOL, deserter and guilty of illegal separation and discharge. Felon appoints fellow felon. USSC Judge Sam "Affirmative Action" Alito is a GWB clone. Alito joined the U.S. Army's ROTC program, where he successfully pimped and exploited taxpayers for "7" years of "free" college education (JD and undergrad degrees). Alito incurred an active military duty obligation of "11" years, as a result of these gifts. Proof-positive, there is no mention of Alito completing his military service in his online "bio".
Locally, attorney Susan Haines was found of perjury in a civil lawsuit and she is still walking the streets. Heaven only knows her "hue".
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama should force GWB to come clean, show his cards, etc. With Obama as the "decider,” Bush should give the Bailey family a "full pardon" with full retroactive compensation, coupled with financial damages. GWB lacks the moral authority to imprison Vick and Jones.

Impeach Hillary Clinton, Don’t Elect Her
Editor:
Can't we do better? Again, America is staring down the barrel of the Oval Office being "manned,” by a combination of Vietnam War draft-dodgers, derelicts/shirkers, whoremongers, communist-siders, and UCMJ-felons. The world and our military uniformed men and women, both deserve better.
Haven't we learned anything from GWB and Bill Clinton? Neither brought accountability, responsibility, due-diligence, and oversight to the Oval office. Bill Clinton's assertion, "I didn't serve in NAM because I had too much information,” still sticks in my craw. I want to see his draft deferment documents. Muhammad Ali had too much "info" (religious) also, and he was sentenced to five years in federal prison for draft-evasion.
GWB played computer war games (Iraq-NAM) with our kids’ lives, which he never would have done, if he had served in Vietnam. GWB clearly didn't know all wars are comprised of murder-suicides, POW abuses, our troops intentionally killing each other, and rape. Insult to injury, GWB's drugging our troops with Rx PTSD-mind altering suppressing drugs, then those drug-crazed troops vaporized and exterminated innocent Iraqi citizens. After they had murdered Iraqis, GWB rewarded those troops with court martials, where they faced the death penalty.
America is obsessed with rewarding politicians for their colossal blunders, resulting in thousands of needless body-bags. Due to his own criminal negligence, FDR allowed the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor, where we lost 2.5K souls, and FDR was re-elected to a third term. The same can be said for GWB. He allowed 20 uneducated thugs to attack the WTC, PA, and WDC on 9/11, where more than 3K saints were killed. GWB was rewarded for his failures, by being re-elected to a second term. GWB even tossed medals to Mueller and Tenet (CYA) for their national security intelligence and surveillance incompetence.
Along comes Hillary seeking her reward, armed with her 35+ years leadership-laden resume, which is packed with lies, vapor, smoke and mirrors, snake-oil, etc. She should be impeached for criminal negligence and war crimes, too. It takes my breath away, this hack publicly admitted, she didn't even read the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), although cherry-picked, and it was used to justify Iraq-NAM, which Hillary (tricked and fooled) authorized. Still no sign of Chelsea or the drunken Bush twins in Iraq-NAM. Has Hillary shed any tears for our 4K dead troops and the 26K maimed? What "docs" will deem important in the Oval Office?
Hillary has "cut and run" from even mentioning 9/11. I can't say that I blame her either. During the aftermath of the 9/11 attack in NYC, I didn't see any of her 35 years experience, regarding NYC's lack of emergency management and disaster preparedness plans. No lessons learned from Hillary's White House days, where NYC had been subjected to two terrorists attacks on her "watch." More than 400 NYC fire fighters and police officers died on 9/11, simply because Rudy and Hillary hadn't trained them in basic personal egress, secondary explosions, combating mass conflagrations, telecom, decontamination procedures, and toxic gases emitted from burning asbestos and vermiculite materials. Heck of a job! "Driving Ms. Hillary", NOT!
